LONGEVITY TIPS

• Repair any dents or bends in the exhaust system. Restricting the flow of exhaust from the engine will cause loss of power.
• Dual exhaust is preferable to single exhaust since the former relieves engine back pressure. This results in more net horsepower to the wheels and less engine wear.
• Consider using scavenger tips for performance improvement and extended engine life. These tail pipe attachments cause the air flowing underneath the car to apply a slight vacuum to the exiting exhaust gases. The result is further engine back pressure relief, slightly more power, and slower engine wear.
